Introduction & Objective: Due to lack of mobility, the traffic police staff are in a sitting position and their feet are fixed for a long time and are sent to out-of-province missions. Therefore, this study was conducted with the aim of investigating the prevalence of focal points of pain in traffic police staff.
Materials and Methods: This descriptive-analytical research was conducted in 2022 at the traffic police headquarters with the existing statistical population of 200 employees. After the face-to-face interview and examination of pain points using the Nordic questionnaire and body map, under the supervision of the relevant specialist at the health center of the traffic police headquarters, the desired information was collected. The data were analyzed by applying the Pearson's chi-squared test at a significance level of p≤0.05, and Spss version 16 software was used to check the desired data.
Results: In this research, which was conducted with the presence of 200 male employees of the traffic police headquarters, with an average age of 39 years, height of 174 cm and weight of 84 kg, it was determined that pain in the back, neck and back area was almost equal in both groups of employees. Headquarters (a) and operational headquarters (b) have the same prevalence and have a high percentage of physical injuries in both groups (significance level p≤0.05).
Conclusion: It was also found that the pain in the knee, shoulder, ankle and leg and thigh areas in the group of employees of Group B (operational staff) had a higher prevalence of pain on both sides of the body than in the staff group only, and on the other hand, in the ankle joints The hand and forearm area in the employees of group A (staff) had a higher prevalence of pain than the employees of group B .
