Background: the purpose of this research is to study the effectiveness of emotion regulation base treatments on women applicant for driving license in Isfahan.

Materials and Methods: the statistical community of the research was all the woman applicant for driving license in Isfahan in Summer 94. Samples were 30 women applicant for driving license which have been chosen through institutes four months before giving their licenses.

The chosen samples have been randomly divided into two groups of control and experimental. While control group was in waiting list, experimental group was exposed to 8 section of excitement regulation base treatment with regard to Leihie protocol (2004) for 90 minutes. Both groups were have been studied based on dependant variables in three levels of pre testing, post testing and following up (one month after testing).

Instruments were Beck anxiety questionnaire (1990).

Results: data analysis have been done through descriptive statistics (mean, standard deviation) and inferential statistics (analysis of variance) with  repetitive sizes and with the use of SPSS18.

Findings: analysis of variance with repetitive sizes showed that the process of changes in women anxiety scores from pretesting to post testing in different groups met meaningful differences (P=0/00). Also the effect of group membership on changes in women anxiety scores from pretesting to post testing and following up were 0/3 which means that 0/30 of changes in anxieties were regarding to pedagogy of excitement regulation base treatment.

Conclusion: based o findings we can conclude that excitement regulation base treatment is effective on the anxiety of women applicant for driving license.
