اهداف: استعمال دخانیات به عنوان یکی از مهم‌ترین علل مرگ‌ومیر زود‌رس در سراسر جهان است که در عین‌حال یکی از قابل اجتناب‌ترین عوامل محسوب می‌شود. افرادی که تحت استرس زیاد هستند، برای شروع مجدد سیگار مستعدترند. احساس خودکارآمدی در ترک سیگار یکی از متغیرهای مهم روان‌شناختی است که با مصرف سیگار ارتباط دارد و از عوامل پیش‌بینی‌کننده ترک موفق سیگار و عود مجدد در افراد سیگاری است. این پژوهش با هدف بررسی اثربخشی درمان شناختی-رفتاری مبتنی بر هیپنوتیزم بر ترک سیگار، اضطراب و خودکارآمدی انجام شد.
مواد و روش‌ها: این پژوهش نیمه‌آزمایشی با طرح پیش‌آزمون، پسآزمون و گروه کنترل در سال ۱۳۹۴ انجام شد. با استفاده از روش نمونه‌گیری غیراحتمالی هدفمند، ۵۴ نفر از کارکنان نیروی انتظامی استان کرمانشاه انتخاب شدند. شرکت‌کنندگان در پیش آزمون پرسش‌نامه‌های مقیاس افسردگی-اضطراب-استرس، مقیاس خودکارآمدی پرهیز از سیگار، مقیاس استعداد هیپنوتیزم‌پذیری پایفرو و چک‌لیست نشانه‌های اختلالات روانی را تکمیل نمودند. تجزیه و تحلیل داده‌ها در قالب نرم‌افزار SPSS ۲۱ و با استفاده از آزمون کای‌دو، آزمون اندازه‌گیری مکرر و تحلیل کوواریانس یک‌عاملی انجام شد.
یافته‌ها: درمان شناختی-رفتاری مبتنی بر هیپنوتیزم بر ترک سیگار اثربخشی معنا‌داری داشت (۰/۰۰۱=p). گروه مداخله در پسآزمون و پیگیری سطح اضطراب کمتری را گزارش دادند که نشانگر اثربخشی مداخله درمانی بود (۰/۰۱p<). معنادار نبودن تفاوت میزان اضطراب در مراحل پسآزمون و جلسات پیگیری به معنای ماندگاری مداخله بود. نتایج بررسی این نتایج حاکی از آن بود که مداخله CBH بر افزایش خودکارآمدی به لحاظ آماری معنادار بود (۴/۵۶=(۵۱.۱)F؛ ۰/۰۵p<).
نتیجه‌گیری: مداخله درمانی شناختی-رفتاری مبتنی بر هیپنوتیزم بر ترک سیگار و افزایش شاخص خودکارآمدی اثربخش است و باعث کاهش میزان اضطراب نیروهای نظامی نیز می‌شود.
