اهداف: هدف از مطالعه حاضر تعیین نقش صفات شخصیتی در پیش‌بینی تاب‌آوری در کارکنان یک واحد نظامی است.
مواد و روش‌ها: این پژوهش از نوع همبستگی است. نمونه پژوهش شامل 217 نفر از کارکنان یک واحد نظامی در شهر تهران، در سال 1398 بود که به روش تصادفی ساده انتخاب شدند. برای اندازه‌گیری متغیرهای پژوهش از دو پرسشنامه شخصیتی نئو فرم بلند 240 سوالی و مقیاس تاب‌آوری کانر دیویدسون 25 سوالی استفاده گردید.
یافته‌ها: بین مولفه‌های ویژگی‌های شخصیتی به صورت تک‌متغیره با توجه به ضرایب بتای استاندارد بدست آمده، مولفه‌های خویشتن‌داری، اعتماد، کم رویی، وظیفه شناسی، اضطراب، معاشرتی بودن، رک گویی، تواضع، نظم و سخت‌کوشی، بیشترین تأثیر را در پیش‌بینی متغیر تاب‌آوری دارند.آز مون فرضیه‌ها بیان داشت که مولفه‌های خویشتن‌داری و اعتماد قادرند بیش از 43 درصد از تغییرات متغیر تاب‌آوری را پیش‌بینی نمایند.
نتیجه‌گیری: بر اساس مدلی که در مطالعه حاضر بدست آمد، مولفه‌های ویژگی‌های شخصیتی تقریباً در حد بالایی قادر هستند تغییرات متغیر تاب‌آوری را پیش‌بینی نمایند.
