Background: The aim of this study was to recognize identify the effective factors on empowerment among military healthcare personnel.

Materials and Methods: This descriptive study was conducted on 210 workers from Headquarter of Police Medicine in 2011, who were selected with random sampling method. The tool used to collect information was questionnaire. Reliability and validity of questionnaire were confirmed by Cronbach´s Alpha Coefficient (0/839) and content validity methods. Descriptive and inferential statistics (Spearman Correlation Coefficient Test and Friedman Test) were used to analyze data with SPSS software version 19.

Results: Results reveal that: there was a significant relation between contextual, structural and behavioral factors and empowerment. Moreover, ranking the variables showed that the highest rate is related to behavioral factors with the mean of 2.28 and the lowest related to contextual ones with the mean of 1.78.

Conclusion: According to the finding of the present research, to improve the existing status, designing a native model of management style and empowerment with the approach of job motivation promotion and revision of organizational training courses, is highly suggested.
